"Replay" Manchester 2012 - where could it be?

So...

Manchester here we come! New venue, new dates and even a new name for @ReplayExpo! More to follow! P.S. 13/14 Oct 2012 <--- save the dates!!

Decided to do this as a separate thread from the one RMLF started, specifically to play a fun and cheeky guessing game as to where in Manchester the "Replay" Expo might actually be.

- They've already said on Facebook it's not in a hotel...
- Manchester Central (Previously GMEX) will be way too big.
- Urbis is being turned into a footy museum
- Is it Manchester City Centre or is it somewhere in Greater Manchester? Salford's hungry for a lot of media attention at the moment.
- Old Trafford or Etihad Stadium conference rooms?

Anyway - I was thinking the University of Manchester's "Academy 1" but then I remembered Arcadian said almost unlimited free parking, which there isn't around there.

By my reckoning, it can't be bang in the city centre then.

Also, on second thought, it probably won't be at MCFC or MUFC because we won't know the fixtures yet, will we?

The city ground would be awesome as its a minute walk from my flat and theres a really good caff five minutes away

Wouldnt matter with regards to the bitters, you could have it there on a matchday with all the empty seats.......

A Manchester arts festival is on from the 7th to the 21st
and afaik it's the Manchester Weekender that weekend as well.
Doubt its the GMEX unless they are sharing with this

My main guess is that its going to be at Event City, which is right next door to the Trafford Centre and they have 'plenty of free parking'
