If that's the case then you would be better of listing some of the other formats you cover in this issue as at the moment it comes across as very limited as I said.

Would also be nice to read about some stuff that hasn't been covered eleventy billion times before.

I will just keep a look out for the next issue I think. As I said I wish you luch anyway and it does look nice.

It's all new so feedback is welcome :) Over time we will expand to include more and more stuff but for now I think we did pretty well packing those 100 pages with as much stuff as possible.

I think anyone who has worked on any kind of multiformat magazine can 2nd this, but making sure an issue or subsequent issues are varied and cover as much as possible is damn hard. Its all very well looking at a list of contents or flicking through a mag and thinking its good to see this & that, but why non of that system and game series x, but actually putting the content together and making a mag as a whole balenced, is very hard. As others have stated, you can never please everyone, there will always be people who cant understand why such and such a game and system is't in there. With printed pages comes a certain number to fill, so its harder than it seems tbh.

I will say we tried to get a good mix in for the first issue. I thought the Amiga special and SOTB interview were a good mix with the rest of the console sections. Plus we had the art articles/interviews in there as well, not to mention covering several different generations all at once. :D

Your magazine looks nicely presented and probably a fun read too. I think the digital copy is a little bit expensive, especially considering how many free retro PDF magazines people are making and giving away online so I won't be buying it. Digital copies should be significantly cheaper than a print version to increase sales from impulse purchases, this high price just makes me reconsider buying it after the initial excitement of reading the announcement.

I'm sorry that I'm cheap, but I'm sure a lot more potential readers feel the same but don't want to say anything. They may even be scouring scene release websites for a copy they can download for free now.

Good luck with the magazine though, I'm sure you'll make plenty profit from those who can afford that bit extra.

It's a 100 pages of content so hopefully more than enough content per issue :) and we throw in the PDF with every printed copy for those that can't wait to read the articles. There's also plenty of other retro books in the U-Publish section that might tempt you or suit your budget :D
