\"WW1 - Aces Of The Sky\" on PS2

Well what have we here?
Someone who remembered a great Cinemaware game on their Amiga called \"Wings\" decided to update the graphics and sound and release it for PS2.
Unfortunately, they removed all the charm on the way.
Bad presentation, boring missions, no sense of achievement.

Anyone else had a go?

Strike Force Hydra- PS1

Fun little shmup, almost looks/plays like a late era Amiga PD game, and it was released well after the Playstation's heyday (2002, I think). Good fun and incredibly-deddibly simple.

Pokemon Monopoly- Board Game

Bought it a few weeks back at a charity shop and a few days ago I won my first EVER game of Monopoly. Yay.

Well thats the problem with some of the games nowadays. Technically outstanding in every department except they were done by people who do not want to associate anything to do with charm, which makes the game very unplayable to me. Its like Maximo on PS2 trying to relive Ghouls n'Ghosts. After 20 mins I never played this game anymore because it did not represent anywhere near the experience of playing the original G n'G when I had my CPC 464. Gameplay was shallow, all show and no go.

Hotel Dusk Room 215 on the DS, fantastic game and really enjoying it. Didn't think I would get immersed into it but I have and love it.

I've just started the final case on Phoenix Wright 2. It's more of the same really, but that's no bad thing since the first one was brilliant, and this is just as fun to play. There are some entertaining new characters in there.

I'm just glad the real world justice system doesn't work like the crazy system in the game :D

Getting seriously frustrated with Black's last level. After busting my nut for (at least) half an hour to get past a tough couple of sections, I get killed by either an unseen sniper or a maniac with an RPG, only to be dropped right back to the start of the level as there aren't any checkpoints. Grr!

I also managed to grab some more 3 for 2 PS2 games in Game today. £3.99 each, but still a couple of classics and all are in great condition.

Deus Ex, Half Life, Max Payne, Freak Out, Seek and Destroy, XIII.

£16 for that lot isn't too bad. :D

Burnout Revenge (Xbox) - picked up a cheap copy this weekend, I'm already \"Unsafe\", yay!

Shaolin's Road (MAME) - for the Retroleague

Ice Climber (NES) - never played this back in the 80's, very frustrating but some interesting ideas

Currently loving Excite Truck on the Wii, its fun, simple and making me neglect all my other games at the moment. What more could you ask for.
