Finished Ninja Gaiden 3 pretty poor, and a cheap last boss!! Her sword swing and when she squashes you with her hand seemed unavoidable

You didn't need to play the whole game through twice to get the Platinum (I did it about a month back)....all you needed to do was have one save near the end of the first chapter (after completing Chapter One and getting the trophy for finishing it one way, reload your save game and do the end of Chapter One mission again for the other trophy) and then once you've completed the game, it allows you to replay the final mission for both endings (and trophies) anyway.

Saints Row The Third is a lot of fun though, certainly puts GTA4 to shame (just like Saints Row 2 did before it).

The boss does prompt the hand squash - as it prepared to do it a line of orange circles appeared on the ground indicating exactly where the hand would land so it's just a case of keeping an eye obit to dodge. The sword is worse, the only way to dodge it is to dodge left or right just as the sword comes at you so you slide right under it. Esily my least favourite attack due to its timing.

i know but i wanted to see what differences the opposite choices made, turns out very little, also i cleared all the side missions (gang clearance) using the v-tol plane i wanted a save where they are all still there so i can call in zombie homie's for a laugh

agree on the gta4 comment as well, totally puts it to shame.

Recent games I've finished are:

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, which was quite good
Blur (a car game), which was one of the better car games I've played in recent years
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, which I Platinum'd, though having about 27 Billion Lego studs at the end was a bit over the top! I thought it was only Japanese Bullet-hell games that had scores that high?

I completed Crysis on the PS3 last night. Thought it was really good and I didn't expect it to be that easy on Delta difficulty. Seemed to rely on the Cloak mode throughout the campaign that came very useful. Yet another platinum trophy for me. :)

Finished off Disaster: Day of Crisis last night.

Still cannot work out if it's one of the best games I've ever played or one of the worst.

Disaster AKA Michael Bay movie the game.

Seriously though I thought disaster was pretty good considering that it was at one point almost canned.

Completed Strider on Mega Drive, it is one of those games that become much more fun when you understand how to play it well.
Doesn't compare to the arcade version though.

My brother & I finished Resistance 3 on Brutal difficulty last night. Hell of a game - varied levels, no regenerating health, powerful story, easily one of the best PS3 exclusives out there

Finished Silent Hill Homecoming with the UFO and Pyramid Head endings.. Just two achievements to go Hard play through and one more ending just too much back tracking for my liking.. At least the infinite Laser Gun makes hard bearable, still don't understand how people say your to powerful in Combat when the Monsters can kill you in 2 - 3 hits...

Marathon session of Super Street Fighter 4 with a friend, played a good 50-60 bouts and think we both improved after that long. Need sleep now.
