Gonna fire up Fable II I suppose. I've been putting it off for so long because I ended up hating Fable: The Lost Chapters so much.

yeah a great game,i emulated it after reading about it in the RG mag,i was surprised how complex it is with the timeline/alternate history parts.

Same here, when the first set of credits came up I was thinking that it was a very short game and then when it restarted I was very surprised with the jumping between levels to find clues.

More Mass Effect 3 single player and multi, it's a great game - I feel just about ready to try the silver challenges online.

Had a bit of a bash again on Phoenix Wright Apollo Justice, still can't get on with this series.

Been playing Fifa 11, so the general consensus seems to be that fifa is now superior to Pro Evo, i dont get it, think i must be missing something in FIFA, i find it really hard to score and yet passing is too easy and as such it makes the games dull, and whats with the 5 pages of control options, if i wanted to have to learn button combos i'd be playing street fighter.

Also had a quick bash on most of the games in my to play pile
Alice madness returns - i love it, have to mkae sure i play it when the kids aren't around though.
Space Marine - Simple but fun, great stress release.
Dead Rising - Havent really got into this yet, i was expecting resident evil style gameplay so far its more like beyond good and evil :)
Banjo Kazooie - Never played the originals, perhaps a bit to simplistic but ill will give it another go, love the look of it.

So with Pandoras Tower around the corner i decided to finally play Xenoblade Chronicles (i got it on release  )

Have to say its one of the best JRPGs I've played in a very long time. the opening is awesome, the characters are likeable and the combat is awesome and not too complex. Definately a breath of fresh air after getting slightly tired of the gloomy Digital Devil Saga.

Could this be an RPG i bring myself to complete?

Just started Duke Nukem Forever. I've laughed once so far - that was when I thought about the people who paid £50+ for the collector's edition of this absolute dud.

If you decide to get rid of it I would be happy to see if could come to some sort of arrangement.

Been playing Silent Hill Downpour story wise really evil so far, and the Mine cart ride is generally frightening.. Combat is infuriating and how underpowered you are compared to the inhabitants of Silent Hill, the shaky camera doesn't help!!! That Banshee or whatever she's called, is particularly annoying and it seems nigh on impossible to break her grab attack, the other monster that randomly seems to land on top of you isn't quite as annoying

I'm loving this game at the minute but your right about murthy being underpowered compared to the enemies. I find the best thing to do with combat is either to run (where possible) and just hold the block button and then get a few hits in where possible. Oh, and never attack packs of enemies head on as it's just asking for trouble.

I do think those games are a bit of an acquired taste but I personally really enjoyed them all. Have you ever played the original Phoenix Wright? It does gently ease you into the mindset you need to have when approching the investigations. I really enjoyed the bits in Apollo Justice where you have to explain why you think a witness is lying based on their actions....the interrogations work so much better than in LA Noire in my honest opinion.

Damn shame that Miles Edgeworth 2 never got a Western release :(

Playing through god of war chains of Olympus again and I'm really enjoying it. It's a totally serviceable god of war game, the combat is all there and so is most of the other cool stuff, and less than cool stuff. Still an ass load of box puzzles, but that's gow for you. I bought ghost of sparta for 13 bucks the other day and i'm gonna tackle that when I'm done. Really enjoying the handheld gow efforts, I really love these game at work. Really makes time go by faster when you're just wasting gods and whatnot..
