I've watched the first couple of episodes of his new series, Awake, and am loving it. Much better than Keifer's snoozefest opening episode of Touch (which was such a slog to get through, I though it was a feature length opener until it ended and I saw the runtime was the usual 42 minutes).

And hello from Dr. Kermode!

Last night, I finally caught up with all of 'Grimm'. It is a good show, but I think it could have longer story arcs, rather than just being a 'monster-of-the-week' type show.

I watched more of 'True Blood' (season 4). I then watched more of 'Alcatraz'. I am up to date with the current UK broadcasts. The violin music in this reminds me of the music from 'Lost' - not much of a surprise as they are made by the same people.

Watched the first episode of Homeland with the missus tonight, seems good but not 100% sure about it, will give it a few more episodes. Will give 'Touch' a try tomorrow night, both these shows are clogging up m Sky Box at the moment.

Being forced to sit though some crap dance movie called Honey 2. It's so bad, it's...well...bad. I'd rather gouge out my eyes and feed them to hungry dogs.

Entourage is amazing, kinda loses it's way in the later seasons though.

I watched more of 'The Good Wife' and 'The Big C'. Both of them were good, but 'The Big C' episode was a bit sad.

I then watched 'Thor'. Big, bold, brash and colourful. Lots of special effects as well and Anthony Hopkins(as well as Natalie Portman). It was fun in a leave your brain outside way. Not in the same league as Superman I and II, the Nolan Batmans or the first two Spiderman films. The story wasn't really there.

Last night I watched Eight-Legged Freaks which was a disappointment. I say that because I remember really enjoying this film back when it first came out but re-watching it on DVD last night the characters were boring/irritating, the humour not that good and the action itself was a bit 'meh'.

I wouldn't say it was a bad movie at all but it's still difficult to recommend.
