I hate the series but the passion these guys have for the project really leaps from the page. I wish them the best of luck :)

Amazing, I've only played Love for Sail but i've also been keen to try the others.

Really hope they reach 500k so we get to see this game :D

I've played the first few and the 7th one (the 7th being the one I played most indepth) and they were quite amusing. Not played any since!

I really liked the Larry games back in the day. Thing is...Sierra had already made a remake of Larry 1 with shiny VGA graphics and a point and click interface. So...Why do it again? Since Al Lowe is on board, I'd love to see a proper new Larry game (not the recent crap they passed for Larry games), not a remake.

Agreed, a brand new game would be preferable, but I revisited the '91 remake last night and its aged a little. The main issue now is the lack of voice acting - that extra layer makes a huge difference to modern games of this type, it can really add layers of character that are missed on a purely text output. Add that to the improved artwork (which isn't a massive leap) and give it some clean, smooth animation and its a win. The old one suffers from the limited resources of the era. Its good, but there's plenty of room for improvement. Ideally they'll tidy it up so there's no impossible situatios or insta deaths.

To be honest I thought I would have been full funded before now, the Shadowrun guys hit there target in 48hrs and they are now at $784K with 18 days left and well Wasteland 2 is now over 2.2million. Al Lowe has put up a small Q&A vid on the kickstarter page that explains why a reamke and not a full game. As off right now it is sitting at $266,042 with 21 days left I am sure it will hit its 500k target but it will not make crazy money like the double fine guys or Wasteland 2

I understand that a lot of people like the LSL games, but I think there's loads of adventure games out there much more deserving of an HD update. How about a remake of the original Sam and Max?
