Thanks Matey :D

Yes, a SNES one is planned also for this year. Couldn't do Megadrive without doing SNES.

I was reading this last night and the first article or two has some typesetting issues - towards the end of the articles, paragraphs seem to just stop then the next column doesn't follow on, it seems disjointed.

I agree with that, and we are going to ensure it is something that is vastly improved upon for Issue 2 :)

Feedback like this is very much appreciated and i think essential to ensure that Pixel Nation lives up to what i think it can be as we progress.

im about half way through it now, good read so far, i enjoyed the bit about platform games at the beginning of the book, one thing i did notice was that page 45 & 46 of the nights article is the same text, its no big deal and im sure someone else will have already pointed it out by now.

so far so good, ill also be getting the megadrive one, is there a release date yet? :D

Damn, we missed that bit :( The strange thing is 3 of us went over that before it went to printing  Heads will roll! Promise we will do better next time :D we want this to develop into something special and as professional looking as possible, so stick with us.

I'd adjust the text contrast a bit on future issues too. Reading in bed in low(ish) light, I was struggling to read black text on the coloured background of the platformers article.

With all the excitement I'm sure a few of you might have missed our other book that's in the works. The first part of our Total series dedicated to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. Full and comprehensive guide to all of the systems releases with a few dedicated sections to the history of this magnificent machine. Part one is well under way, I personally had a hand in gathering the 1000's of screenshots and game lists. One hell of a job but I'm hoping you lot will find it worthwhile :D

Due this July, pre-orders are available now
