I've been missing playing in the league - but this would drag me back. At least it is tried and tested and has a number of forum members involved.

Not a bad idea. Current season would have been a good starter for ten. And, yes: you must make more effort in the league, Polo!

In fact, that has given me another idea for choice of game - Sexy Parodius. It's a fabulous shooter, with plenty of depth that doesn't interfere with gameplay - either take is as a straight-forward shooter, or tackle the intricacies. Great, great fun. It has recently appeared in both Retroleague and RG Forum's very own Shmup League. :D

Sexy Parodius again?

I was going to join the Retro League as I'm not actually a massive fan of shoot 'em ups. But looking back through the games, I'd have to emulate most of them, which put me off.

had to look up some old threads to see what Lets All Play was (being new).

It sounds like an OK idea, but I think getting involvled would purely depend of whether it's a game I can get to play by some means. (the massive amount of formats that are 'retro' is probably what makes it hard).

i'll try to join in this time,as long as it's something i already have the emulator for.i'll probably need to use cheats to see all the bosses though

I'd be up for this again. Don't think any of the games used last time (aside from 1 or 2 of them) were games I had access to so I couldn't join in. I'd rather not use emulators unless it's an arcade-only game.

I think 2 pages is a better-sounding format so I look forward to seeing how the second coming pans out :)

It depends on what you're planning for the feature, and what you've done before, but I'd suggest something with a definitive goal that - for comedy value - may also irritate a lot of people when they get stuck on a certain bit. Like a Dizzy or Last Ninja game.

I think The Last Ninja on the C64 would be a good call, consider it seconded.

Wouldn't it be better to have a game that plays across multiple formats(and preferably one that I can play on me C16 and censored-off).

I'd be up for this again. I'm going to throw Alcatraz on the Amiga into the ring. Mainly because, I think, it's an undiscovered gem, and has a great layer of depth to it.

Lets all play Flashback :D

Or maybe Another World, Or D+D Warriors of the Eternal Sun, or Buck Rogers Countdown to Doomsday.

Any of those and I will withdraw my spectrum complaints in the feedback section.

Well, from the end of the last "Next lets all play..", Cannon Fodder seemed to be popular, with 4 or 5 people liking it as a choice...

Firstly I was a fan of Lets all play and was sad to see it go. Mind you I didn’t help as I didn’t get involved either. If it does return I will make more of an effort to join in rather than let the same faces do all the work.

What about one of ‘The Games’ series from Epyx? I would love to see World Games given the once over. Best version, Favourite event and so on.
