Perhaps they're all too young to know....

Highly unlikely now, though - a lucky 3-way tie; but what chance Raiden or Don doesn't get just one more vote? Between those two, I hope its Raiden: I've seen videos of both and Don seemed to have too much slow-down, and all levels completed with use of a permanent high-power laser.

Ive play tested both and Raiden would be the more interesting game imo, as it has ALOT of bonuses for scoring.. killing enemies quicker, different boss parts etc. and also an interesting medal system where if 2 medals touch each other on screen they combine and get more point value. You can have up to 100 combined and its worth 3+ million max or something.. Also the game starts off with simulated missions that increase in number the better you do.. if youre good enough the 'real' game then starts.. this sounds mental as ive played the first 3 simulated missions on my test play and it was like playing sonic wings on crack.. the soundtrack is nuts too. Makes for an intense experience.

We would have to pick one rom type though for MAME users. The US version has 2 loops whereas the Japanese version only has the one. I tend to go with Jap defaults always.

DonPachi is a good game but looks dodgy on the Saturn so may have to use MAME.

Oh and i missed Uridium first time round. I know what a C64 is though.. :D Always wanted one as a kid but got bought an Atari ST instead... could've been worse for sure.

The PS1 port of Donpachi is officially lovely, I'm rooting for that one. Raiden Fighters Jet is also another great one - I suspect if that gets picked we'll see some 1cc's. An evil part of me would love to see Uridium for its toughness and frustration levels!!
