Do they take consoles, the PS2 to be specific? I have one and a good few games that im toying with the idea of getting rid of. Its either that or Ebay... Gradius V is one of the games though so ill probably withhold that :)

I don't think they take anything other than Xbox 360, Wii, PS3, any DS variant and PSP. Plus I've seen no offers at all on console hardware, just games.

To be honest though if anyone does have a console to trade I'd go for it. GAME's stock of pre-owned consoles is near none-existent now. Especially Xbox's.

Bit late to the party with this trade in lark (especially as it ends wednesday :? )

Haven't read the whole thread by my trade in prices as below. Basically £3.33 added to each game, (Bracket is actual trade in price) traded in 12 games Wii/360.

Would not take DS or PSP games. Also looks like trade in prices vary from shop to shop, my prey (complete) was only worth £1.03 :( .

Fifa 08 = £3.90 (57p)
GTA IV = £13.40 (£10.07)
Farcry 2 = £5.40 (£2.07)
Prey = £4.40 (£1.03)
Fatal Inertia = £5.40 (£2.03)
Crackdown = £3.90 (57p)
Dead or Alive 4 = £5.40 (£2.03)
Battlefield 2 MC = £7.40 (£4.03)
Tiger Woods 09 = £5.40 (£2.03)
Alien Syndrome = £5.90 (£2.57)
Wii Music = £6.40 (£3.03)
Diabolik = £4.40 (£1.03)

£71.30 for a pile of old toss.

Got a game for the kids and Wii Super Mario 4 player thingy, also mainly for the kids. Not else much to take my fancy so will probably trade some more and get a console.

Likewise at my local gamestation, they have several shelves full of crap PS1, PS2 already!

Some PSP titles I got in the firesale, £1 each for store credit. Not classed as current gen so no £10 bonus, kept hold of them.

Forgot to mention there was an original Xbox and Gamecube console for £15 in a display, no PS2 though. Lots of PSP GO's no PSP's otherwise I probably would have got one.

just been in this morning to game and managed to get £50 credit for the following 6 games:
la noire
amped 3
band hero (game only)
samba de amigo
motorstorm
cod world at war

absolutely gobsmacked when he told me the price - afterwards turns out that they gave me £15.40!!!! for band hero, the same one i bought off them for 98p 3 weeks or so ago.

chap in there said that it seems like they want to go into administration again :lol:

so that means i get the walking dead game series and some other stuff :D

just got a couple of £1 games in a charity shop to take in later too

Just been in and got £150 store credit for 21games. The guy said i would have got £80 but it added £70 on with the promotion. Got myself a 3DS Just because i didnt wanna blow the lot on a load of titles i want that are still £40 like Catherine & Kingdoms of Amalur.

Fifa09 got me £3.90 with the promotion. cant believe they are taking football titles. Last day is tomorrow apparently. Might have to get back down there.

They should take DS games. I got rid of a load of them and games with no instructions.

I didn't even bother to do that. In fact I straight up told the guy I just bought them from CEX to trade in :lol:

Wandered along today and picked up Miles Edgeworth for a tenner.

Used my credit and still have £55 left.

Not taking DS - despite still being alive and kicking? I understand Psp as it was dead before but the 3ds/ds exist well together.

only annoyed as i had sorted out some ds/psp and wii games to take.

I took some DS games in, including the 99p Advance Wars that I bought from them.

DS is definitely included in the deal here.

Bargain, excellent game. :) Never actually seen it on the high street in any shops here? I was actually mentally exhausted after beating the last case in it, shame Miles Edgeworth 2 never got released outside of Japan.

^^Saw it last week in HMV as well for the same price. Didn't have time to wait and buy it so went straight back the next day and of course it was gone. :(

Least this way I didn't have to pay by cash. :D
