Been playing a few bits and bobs, trying to settle on just one to get my teeth into:

Dredd Vs Death GC
Phantasy Star Online I&II GC
Goblin Commander GC
The Punisher MD (via emu)
Destroy All Humans PS2....this is the one that really caught my attention, but it also caught my son's....now the PS2 is in his bedroom :( (My other PS2 is being very temperamental...looks like picking up another one so i can play it downstairs on my TV) Most amused by the anal probe  Did i dream it or was there a sequel to this?

About 25 hours into Mass Effect 3 with no signs of slowing down! The missions, the characters, the cameos, it's all so engrossing I struggle to adjust to being back in the real world

I also dabbled in the multi-player, although I was initially sceptical it is functional and pretty fun once you get into it. ME3 would have been a perfect game without it though, methinks it was just a way for EA to shove online passes in everyone's face

Still playing GoldenEye on Mupen64. Managed to finish it on Agent (to get used to the controls), now to play it on Special Agent. Also played a bit of Super Mario 64, and 007 The World Is Not Enough. Haven't played this for such a long time, I forgot about defusing the bomb on mission three slowly, I ended up detonating it prematurely. Methinks I'd make a censored secret agent

Have sunk my teeth into Crackdown 2 this week. The mission variety is pretty poor, to say the least, and they lack the charm and challeneg of the first game. However, collecting orbs and levelling up powers is as addictive as ever. A game this repetitive shouldn't be this fun!

If anyone wants to partner-up for a few missions or to get some achievements (particualrly the XBL Orbs), let me know.

Wait till you get to the frustrating last bit of the game. I just got rid before the 360 controller broke in half

The first two on PS2/Xbox are well worth playing and I love 'em. The third game for PS3 (Path of the Furon) I sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago because it was terrible. Y'see, Pandemic made the first two then the series was given to other devs afterwards so the magic was lost. There's also the Wii game (Big Willy Unleashed I think it's called...I know, I know  ) which was met with terrible review scores. So what I'm trying to say is play and love the first two but don't necessarily bother with the others unless you can get them for a few quid each as you may not like them.

I have the Jap version of that and I could never beat the last boss. It's the thing that fills the top of the screen and fires a massive blue laser downwards isn't it? Spent countless hours trying but I just couldn't do it :(

Mame cab is up and running, so playing through all my old favourites.

Currently trying to regain my teenage form on Phoenix (no surprise there) and Mr Do!, and my not-so-teenage form on the original Snow Bros.

Feel like I am back in Southend, and it's 1983..

While I'm busy with the PS3, I cleared the Survival and Spec Ops mode in Modern Warfare 3 as I unlocked the platinum trophy. Currently resuming back to some Master League in Pro Evolution Soccer 2012.

As for retro I been playing a mixture of Golden Axe, Hellfire, and Sonic The Hedgehog through MD emulation.

That's the one and I remembered how I beat it.. First take the bottem exit, the next two rooms take the bottem exits as there single rooms that unlock POWS and cards then the upper route's.. There's a optional boss fight against Alan JNR for a card but you get a Laser gun, 20 grenades and full health before the boss

On the boss stay in the right corner use laser gun or throw 5 grenades then drop off, grenade the robot the second robot drops heavy Machine gun; climb back to the right and keep shooting grenades the ice is easy to dodge.. The third form is easy to dodge if you stay in the middle!! Don't attack its next form just kill the robot for heavy machine gun, then attack it when it spews the ice, and it will partly blow up but continue firing the ice and not the fast lasers.. Stand underneath it firing when the platform falls you will take a few hits but lose that much energy.. It should die around then it may take a few practise attempts to get its patterns

^^^ I think I took a route that ended up with me still being in a Metal Slug tank for the boss but there's hardly any room to move about so it didn't last lost. Annoyingly, I kept getting killed by those little robots since it's easy to get stuck in a corner with no room to jump clear of them and their lasers...
