I keep wondering what that one's like. I know it exists, but have seen...... no info at all on it, actually. Not even a video. All I know is "it's a shmup. It's on 360."

As for myself, been playing A Valley Without Wind. Nonstop. For well over a week. Havent touched anything else since starting on it (and probably wont for awhile yet). It's like someone designed a game JUST to fit my own tastes perfectly. Utterly brilliant game. I count it as being as good as Minecraft or Dwarf Fortress, and I...... pretty much never, EVER say that about anything else.

So damn good that I STILL havent really played Under Defeat hardly at all despite just having bought that one.

Mortal Kombat Vita. I'd not spent much time on my PS3 version so I'm really enjoying this. I'm swapping between Scorpion, Sub Zero and Rain at the moment, three ninja's that refreshingly play pretty much nothing alike (unlike past titles).

I bought the 'Komplete Edition' for PS3 (the game plus all the DLC on-disc - yeah!) and loved it which is strange as I'd always disliked MK and Armageddon put me off the series forever until I tried the latest game. Simple but very playable with amazingly gory x-ray moves  . My favourite characters to use are Kitana, Skarlet, Cyber Sub-Zero and Sonia.

Today I've been trying out some games to decide whether to keep them or get rid (having a bit of a clear-out) so played Psychic Force for the PS1 (nice idea but not really that interesting) and both Gundam Battle Assault games (first one is OK but the second one is GREAT!).

I've finally settled on The Simpsons Hit and Run (GC) for my next game to pump some time into. It grabbed me instantly, so hopefully its got a bit of longevity to it. We'll soon find out, i guess. :)

I tried several 'heavy' games that required concentration and have a distinct learning curve. I realised i needed a 'simple' game for the moment. It ticks all my boxes...nice and easy, pretty to look at and fun (imo, natch  ) :)

About 10hrs into Mass Effect 2. Followed on directly from the first game, so the changes are quite pronounced. Some I like, but others (weapons now require ammo, stupidly slow Surveying of Planets) are a real drag.

Oh, and it's really obvious the Developers played more than a few games of Gears of War in between making the original game and the sequel.

Is that the one where the characters say 'Delicious!' or am I thinking of something else?

Been replaying Super Magnetic Neo on Dreamcast...I'm determined to finally beat the damn thing but it does get extremely difficult quickly and feels very unfair at times....one stage has you getting to the end, than having to pretty much run all the way back to the beginning to avoid a wall of fire that suddenly just comes at you, then get back through the level again but this time with added enemies....so whether I'll have the patience is another matter entirely.

Also playing PopoloCrois on PSP, a much better RPG than I thought it'd be and I'm 11 hours into it now. It's not too difficult so far and none of the bosses have given me any trouble, it does have very frequent random battles though, so can get a little frustrating (although there are spells/items that reduce enemy encounters). I've been forced to play a downloaded copy off the memory stick though (I do own an original copy) as if you're trying to run it straight from the UMD, you get constant loading pauses inbetween areas on the map and whenever your characters use special attacks in battles which can turn the whole game into more of a chore than it should be.

I started playing Episode 1 of the Walking Dead. It's my first TellTale adventure game and it's actually pretty darned good. The writing could certainly be better and some of the choices aren't clear enough (there's times where you need to choose who lives & dies but it makes no attempt to make it clear that someone will die) but it's solid. I'll likely buy in to Episode 2 and see if I bother playing on..

Currently playing Titan Attacks on STEAM, it's a fun, advancement on Space Invaders. Good for it's price, quick, but quite hard.!

Currently restarting Grandia for the umpteenth time. Though for some reason my PS2 scart connection seems to be faltering. Not good.

Also played Dino Crisis 2 , Psychic force,Dynasty Warriors,Star Gladiator and Kensei - sadly resigning some of them to the get rid of pile once and for all.
(and no it wasnt Dynasty Warriors or Dino Crisis 2)
