Tonight I saw a bit of BGT, funnily enough I could swear I have seen it all before..Time for a change.

The Avengers, was awesome.

It had it's flaws but overall it was good fun and it was great to see all of those characters together on the big screen.

The Avengers - Awesome. Really blew me away.

The Warriors - A Cult Classic!

Iron Man and Iron Man 2 - Ok, I've been slacking, but these are really good films (especially the first one).

Blue Bloods - Awesome program. Reminds me why SKY Atlantic is probably the best channel going.

Captain America - Really good, enjoyed it a lot.

Can you DIG IT? Excellent film. :D

Watched Grindhouse last night....that's both Death Proof, Planet Terror and the fake trailers. Really enjoyed it all. Death Proof was a bit of a slow film but full of trademark Tarantino dialogue, and when things happened....it was a lot of fun and very over the top. The ending scene was very Mortal Kombat-esque, couldn't help thinking 'FATALITY!' when it happened. Planet Terror was awesome, actually laugh out loud funny in a lot of parts. The 'fake' trailers for other films were great too, like 'Werewolf Women of the SS', starring Nicolas Cage as Fu Man Chu   .

Speaking of the 'fake' trailers, 2 of them have actually been made into real films, Machete and Hobo With A Shotgun. I actually watched Machete early hours Sunday morning (before seeing the Grindhouse double bill) and that was also great, Robert Rodriguez really knows how to make ultra violent comedy action movie work well.

Machete is awesome, I was just about to post about another film with ridiculous comedic violence...Punisher Warzone, I lost count at how many times I laughed at the OTT deaths.

Snooker, for 17 days. It's over now, I can get back to normal life. Well, apart from when I'm down the pub playing pool (I was never good enough for the big boys' table!)

Started to watch the first season of Game of Thrones

It's actually quite good, but nowhere near the books for me, it seems very faithful to the source material too which is a bonus although I've heard things have changed which are a bit questionable.

Punisher Warzone was great, not a perect film but it was a much better adaptation of the comics than either the old Dolph Lundgren movie or the Tom Jane/John Travolta one from a few years back. That guy getting shotgunned in the face at close range inside the house was superb
