Wouldn't mind one, but wouldn't get one unless I spotted a killer deal...very nice kit but expensive to get into and collect for :)

I picked one up a couple of years back. I've been slowly picking up a few games for it (mainly the fighters which I really like, KOF, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown and Last Blade) but due to the cost of each game its been pretty slow going. I'd love to track down the Metal Slug games one day if I ever have that much spare cash on me!

I bought one on ebay about 6 months ago. Picked it up locally and got on quite well with the seller. Every so often I get an email from him with games that he is selling. Most of them are £40 or less.

Great system though. :D

Got a boxed Japanese system, worth every penny!! Cost £120 from Japan including P&P

Also got about 8 games which were all reasonably priced except Last Resort which was about £100 - but that game was one of the main reasons why I bought the system.

Still want to get Pulstar and Blazing Star at some point but I can't see me getting those for ages becuase of the frankly insane prices they sell for when copies turn up!!

I bought one with a bundle of other retro systems years ago. I have 13 carts for it. I also have a couple of MVS systems and carts.

I have one, with about 16 games (mostly cheap ones... the most expensive one being KOF 98). I've always wanted one as a teenager and once I bought one, I felt like I had suddenly become a real gamer... I can only dream of having a Metal Slug on this console, but there are tons of great games that do not costs hundreds of pounds/euros.

Next title I'd like to buy: Mutation Nation. (I only have the Neo Geo CD version... but I don't have the Neo Geo CD!!)

I used to really want a Neo Geo but not anymore thanks to the various compilations available. Sure the controls aren't the same and emulation is never 100% perfect but across all the releases, there are thousands of pounds worth of NG cartridges available for relatively little. Basically I'd rather have the money and the space for other things.

Even games like The Last Blade, Garou, Aggressors of Dark Kombat, Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter are all available on Japanese PS2 and these are the games I'm still interested in picking up.

A while ago I would have loved one, but the more I look at it the more I realise I'm just not that interested. I'm not a massive fan of SNK fighting games or 2D shooters, which between them probably make up over 80% of the catalogue. Besides which even the cheapest games fetch £20-30, with many moderately common games still in three figures.

I have the SNK Arcade Classics and Metal Slug Anthology compilations for the Wii - they cost me a fiver apiece and I can play most of the really decent titles. That's as close as I'll ever come to owning a real Neo and to be honest, it's probably close enough.

I have been checking out the system, still a new to it, but i think it has some fantastic games, and from what i can see, its library is small, but is mostly quality over quantity. I guess if you like finghting games then your well looked after especially if you like the SNK variety, and there are quite a few shooters on the handheld to, best thing is, the games are top quality for the little handheld and are well worth playing imo. But there are quite a few hidden gems other than fighters and shooters/shmups on the system, Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure, Dark Arms, Dive Alert, Bio Motor Unitron, Faselei are all worth a play through.

I have owned about half a dozen AES but currently only own the MVS Dedicated cab

I have 30 games so far, but going for a full euro set - At first I didn't like the Neo Geo games because I didn't get to play them on the actual console until around 2000/1 but now I really love them. Games like Burning Fight, Fatal Fury, Art Of Fighting (Yeah all the early ones) I love.

I do like some of the newer titles like SVC Chaos, Shock Troopers 2 & Blazing Star also.

Owning the AES is amazing though, even though I own the arcade machine I would also be tempted to buy another :)

I have the NGPC. Would love to own one of the consoles. Sadly the cost to get one is way over what I can justify at the moment.

Hopefully in the future.

That pretty much limits you to Samurai Shodown 1 & 2, Art of Fighting 1 & 2 and Fatal Fury Special then! ;)

You can pick up a boxed AES with an extra stick and 3-4 games for well under £200 if you know where to look... Personally I got mine for £80 loose, shipped with one controller and one unboxed game. Great system, one of the few I'd never sell. Most of you will have played on it if you've been to a gaming event over the last few years! :D

I've currently got 22 games with an average price paid of under £30 a game. I've also got some MVS carts of games that are very expensive (Metal Slug) or unavailable (Captain Tomaday) on the AES that I'm going to try converting when I have time.
