Ketsui for the Xbox 360. I'm not to bad on the first couple of stages, with a bomb or two I can clear them without dying but once the third stage rolls round things get tougher, by stage 5 I have problems  X Mode seems much more managable for me, I can get further with one credit on that and generally do better on the later levels as well. Its really addictive as well, grinding kills to get a few of the achievements and I do see myself getting better at the game... slowly.

I'm also still working through Fist of the North Star. Completed Kenshiro's story mode which was fun and moved onto Toki's which sucks. Fair enough he isn't as powerful as Ken but to make his standard attacks this week and to have the first boss kill him in two hits  Not fun at all. I do like the dream mode though, feels much more like a traditional Dynasty Warriors game and the game is more fun because of that.

I still find Kesui brutal because it forces you to get close to the enemies to score high, ace port though glad you're enjoying it.

Honestly mate Toki's later powers are devistating - just a shame it takes a load of grinding to unlock them :(

I can't see me going for high scores on Ketsui yet, I've enough problems just surviving let alone getting closer to enemies!

I can see Toki being really good when maxed out, his X,X,X,Y attack is already stupidly powerful and can take out a horde of enemies in one go and his counter/parry move is very handy. Its just his normal attack power (esp. against Raoh) that lets him down at the mo.

There's one move with Toki that Roah just can't cope with and interrupts some of his attacks - sorry really can't remember which one it is (there is one attack you can unlock that allows Toki to regenerate energy, it costs a lot to get it and is not worth bothering with - steer clear). Mate you won't confront anything else as hard as this battle in the entire rest of the game.

I've recently started Need for Speed Hot Pursuit after buying it ages ago for a tenner or so. Looks very pretty & controls quite nicely too.

Are you mental?

I remember playing the infamous Haze demo they released. Oh man, it was terrible. Especially after that games show on Bravo (Playr?) previewed Haze for 6 months before that. All that hype and at the end we got...Haze. The graphics are sub-par yes, but it was the voice acting that got to me. It was diabolical. I know you and your team are hocked-up on drugs, but do these same drugs make them into assholes? The actual demo itself was nothing to write home about either. A very generic FPS with terrible graphics and terrible voice acting.

It's actually very good fun once you get into it, especially in co-op :D shooting your partner in the back and watching them overdose was real funny

I was playing about with my PSP MegaDrive emulator over the weekend, and found a ROM for Commandos (the old PC Eidos game, late 90s). Very very strange - I think it was Russian.

Has anyone came across this before? The graphics weren't actually that bad!

Kinda given up on Breath of Fire 3 for the time being. At the moment everything is going very slowly and the enemies are frustrating. It just isnt gripping me in the same way as other RPG's.

Just made a start on Guardians Crusade for PS1, a little known RPG with super colourful cutsey graphics. Enjoyable so far, battle system seems very simple but i prefer it that way.
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!

Buggy Heat on the Dreamcast. Not as bad as everyone says it is, once you get used to the rubbish handling.

I was utterly distracted by the fact that the announcer appears to be Ron Burgundy.

It is indeed Russian - a few weeks back I actually found a whole batch of Ruskie MD bootleg ROMs, usually they're just existing games with a crude new title screen attempting to tie it into a current franchise, occasionally though something coded afresh will emerge.

True Pinball - sent to me by Antiriad2097 - quite enjoyed it on 3d but then found you can switch to top down and enjoyed it tenfold.

Also Namco Museum battle thingy for PSP. Not a bad mix , played a few Ive never played before but really I was in it for the Pacman.
