Retro game reviews! Amateur but brilliant!

Postby Lunar51 on Sat May 12, 2012 10:46 am

I know a guy who's doing retro game reviews, very funny, very entertaining, have a look, show some support, and help keep retro gaming alive!!
(The intro is a bit long, but it's the first episode so it's only a one off)

There is another one as well, so if you look on the youtuber page, there is another video.

I don't support anything posted by people who just register to pimp something, but by any chance... is it you?

Don't hate me :( No-one's gonna believe me but I actually did ask something in Q & A but I clicked save apparently :(
I apologise. I've posted some stuff, and I'll keep the spamming to a minimum.
Tally-bye! ^ - ^

A bit long? Its 3 minutes of a 6 minute video

Episode 2 seems to have uploaded wrong, I'm just getting the video in a tiny box instead of the full height.

Always good to have some new content available, but I'd like to see more inspired choices of games.

I could just about hear something, but it's far too quiet to listen to.

Thanks for the constructive criticism :) Louder, less intro, and upload right next time! Got it. The message shall be passed on!
And it actually isn't my video, I'm part of the team, but there's three of us all doing the reviews.
But seriously appreciate the support. There's another one uploaded, but it has nothing to do with retro, so you may ignore it :) Thanks again!

In case anyone is interested, there's another one up. I believe this one is louder and has a MUCH shorter intro.
Give it a view :)

The video still plays in a box half the size of the video window.

The game choice is still terribly predictable.

The audio levels are better so we can hear you, but with the 'comedy' voice I'm not sure that's a good thing.

Work out how to upload videos so they play properly at the full height of the video window (I'll let you off with borders at the side for old games at 4:3 in the widescreen Youtube player, better that than stretching the video).

Pick something just a little bit more exotic than Nintendo's greatest hits.

Just deliver your material in your own voice.

It'll be much better for it. Even in these 3 videos you've made big leaps in your production values.
