Dodgy red card for elbowing Tevez, punched Aguero, headbuts Kompany and then goes after Balotelli causing a melee in the process!

He makes Dereck Chisora look a model professional sportsman!

To paraphrase a certain Sir Alex Ferguson:

"Football - bloody hell."

And another thing - we won't have to hear Owen Coyle say "Barclays Premier League™©®™©®™©®™©®" every 30 seconds for at least the next year. Thank heavens for small mercies and all that.

How bloody jammy were Man City and QPR due to the fact that Bolton lost. Annoyingly though I would have prefered Man Utd to win the title and QPR to go down.

Funny that Everton finished above Liverpool though, despite spending roughly £120mil less.

I had no ill feelings towards QPR, but I did think it would fitting for Barton to be relegated (again?).

Indeed, for all our names we just don't have enough of the mentality and focus of Everton and the other teams above us. We have our moments, getting to two finals and winning one of them, but we're still seriously lacking consistency in player performances, which is reflected in our failure to take chances.

I think a lot of Lverpool fans (my cousin runs a popular channel called The Red Men) are getting fed up with Dalglish going on about luck and that.

Kenny's made mistakes, but who hasn't? We've had good teams (on paper) with different managers but for whatever reason we've still under achieved in the league. I don't know how much a different manager would make, changing managers isn't exactly a safe bet (look at Hodgeson), and it isn't the manager that makes players hit the post instead of the back of the net etc, if it isn' t bad luck then I think the players are just as responsible as Kenny.

Liverpool had their worst season in over sixty years, but Everton still only finished above them by one spot, plus Liverpool won a trophy and got to the FA Cup final. David Moyes's trophy cabinet is still empty. 18 years and counting for the Toffees!

The funniest sight of the weekend was seeing those Man City fans leaving early. D'oh!
