Max Payne 2 for the PC. Even better than I remember it being, it fixed several problems I had with the first game (more even difficulty, enemies don't do quite as much damage but are still dangerous) and the gunplay has been improved with some really impressive gun fights. Top it off with the same good story/atmosphere present in the original and you have an excellent sequel. I'm now interested to see just how Rockstar handles the third game.

I've just finished Paper Monsters on iOS earlier..... or at least I THINK I finished it, I know there's at least 1 paperclip and 1 or 2 cards I missed, and the endboss vanished after 1 hit, with 2 hearts still remaining.....

Really, really good platformer though. They got the controls completely perfect, and like alot of the best platformers out there, it didnt try to do anything super complicated; focused on the jumping, exploring, and good level design, and it did it all very well.

Though those aggravating "Draccordion" jerks can go screw themselves with a fork. Reeeeaaaaalllllyyyyyyy hated those blasted things.

I don't have quite as much love for Last Window as I do for Hotel Dusk - I just don't find the characters as interesting (would a cameo from Louis have been too much to ask?)

That said it's still very good and the actual plot is probably better and more involving.

Assassins Creed 2 (PC). Its good, not great. It looks fantastic and I loved exploring the cities and the story was fairly decent but the mission structure was still boring like the first game. To much fighting and not enough stealth I found bar the last few missions which was exactly what I wanted from the game.

Sonic 4 Ep 1 (360). Still not as bad as people make it out to be, I enjoyed playing through it again. Sure its notnear as good as previous Sonic games but I still liked it.

Alan Wake American Nightmare (360). Finally got round to finishing this off, my only complaint is the revisited stages as I'd have preferred several more unique stages instead. That said the story was well done and explains a great deal while also setting up perfectly for an Alan Wake 2 down the line.

Star wars on the NES. I remember it being hard but I was still shocked by it. Great game though.
Also Singularity on the xbox. I never thought it would be that good. Short and sweet.

Sonic 4 Episode 2. Cleared the main game (but need to go back for Emeralds) and I liked it. Some of the zones were really nice and its a clear improvement over ep1. While I liked the designs for the bosses they did tend to frustrate in places.

Bloodrayne.

Its not that exciting and overlong (even though its a short game).

Its alright, just lacking in variety. Primarily a combat exploration game, but the combat is weak and the environments a bit dull.

You can't help but like the lead character (who doesn't like a scantily clad vampire chick?) but the voice acting is woeful throughout to its detriment, so bad its not even funny.

Not sure if I should tackle its sequel or take a break with something else, but its at least partially satisfied my curiosity. I've been meaning to play these since the first film came out.
