Unlocking the Binkey car on Ridge racer 64 is dull

99 laps in time trails

Its gone from doing laps as fast as I can to holding down accelerate to a cup holding the button

Don't EVER remind me of that - 99 laps completed, then the game crashed and wiped my save!

Currently though, Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. Only about two hours in, I've just got off the train and entered the village (Dropstone). Trying very hard not to look up answers online means I'm running low on hint coins.

I have a similar problem with it, some of the commands aren't very responsive and for a game where split second commands are the difference between success and death it quickly gets annoying. Its a decent game just really frustrating in places.

Some more Quake Live last night. Brought back of years of hardcore Q3 in early 2000s

Now you know the easy way of unlocking.
Just keep that button pressed down and do something else

Just onto the Dawn/Dusk towers on PT. I'm at level 35 and have an almost fully upgraded military scythe and chain mail armour, so it's looking good! I've had to resort to watching a YT video to solve one puzzle though - anyone who's played it will know the one I'm on about (it concerns a stone and a bridge). How was I supposed to work that out?

Mario Party 2 - This game is SO GOD DAMN CHEAP. Even knowing that, it's still ridiculously fun to play locally with my friends

Tom and Jerry fists of fury (or something)
This game is very wrong as Tom wins

Power Rangers ligthspeed rescue
The lightspeed is wrong as the game is SO BLOODY SLOW

Finished Pandora's Tower this afternoon (only got the B ending though - boo!) and launched straight into Last Story. All I can say is wow - I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game so much right from the very first second. The melee combat system is genius and the cover shooting makes it the closest thing to Gears Of War on the Wii. I still don't get how the squad combat works (I'm just running around like a headless chicken taking everyone on myself at the moment) but... wow. Again.

Assassins creed revelations. Got a bit bored of this series now, this game is dull and unispired compared to the rest, lots of pointless little changes and niggles. The best bits are taken out (tombs), den defence is pointless and training assassins takes ages. AC3 really needs to start fixing the problems such as easy difficulty, broken economy, shoddy contextual controls etc. It won't of course :)

Zombie Hunter for Famicom (translation repro). Good lite action RPG that gets very hard, especially since it's a bit like a roguelike in that it's permadeath.

Loads of elements get added to the combat system as you go along and it does get understandable later on. I too had no idea what the hell I was doing for the longest time but after finishing the game, I'd nailed everything and was dishing out orders/tactics on the fly. Stick with it because it's a fantastic RPG, one of my favourites as of this year :D

I finished the first season of the master league in Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 by winning the treble. Might need to get back on track with club boss and other modes as there's some catching up to do.

Also I'm still playing with some random community levels in Little Big Planet too.
