Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
on PS2 was a crushing disappointment for me. The PS1 trilogy are some of my favourite games of all time with nice gameplay, excellent music and buckets of charm so Spyro on the PS2 HAD to the best thing ever
right? Wrong: it was a game with no charm, boring levels, annoying characters, and a general unfinished feel. Even worse were the frequent glitches and even more frequent software lock-ups
It was shortly after that I researched the game and discovered that it was rushed in time for Christmas by the new developer. It still would have been most of things listed above but the rushed development resulted in the final insult of glitches
Easily the worst sequel and biggest crushed excitement of all time for me.
