Street Racer - Case smashed to buggery but just swapped it out - £1

I've been hankering to play the PS1 version for ages. Would be ace converted for use on PSP.

In all honesty I've been playing it today, and it just doesn't feel right on the play station. Me and my mate played this for hours on the SNES together back in the day, so I suppose the memory's I hold for it will forever be with the SNES and my mate.....so in short and to stop me from waffling, send us a pm with your address and I'll send it out to you in the next few days, just bang something in the random niceness if your cool with that!?!

I might have to give Street Racer another go at some point. I gave away my PS1 copy because it felt like a crappy Mario Kart rip-off but I didn't put a lot of time in to be fair. Might pick up a Japanese copy if it exists.

I used to love playing Street Racer on the PS1 when I was younger, I would always play that arena mode where it was last car remaining on the platform wins.

The MD version is certainly the worst version. The SNES is seen as the best most of the time from talk over the years.

After having played the PS1 version a few hours this afternoon it isn't the greatest version. While the graphics seem bigger and the backgrounds tided up a little, it feels like a lazy port.

Like I said before the SNES version for me, me and my mate, a large 3 ltr bottle of coke, multibag of crisps and enough profanity's to make your parents ground you for a year was a quality way to waste an afternoon....

I liked the Saturn version of Street Racer, though none of them are on a par with Mario Kart. I did like the arena mode in the Saturn game - is that in the SNES version or was it one of the extra features in the 32-bit versions?

^ It is in the SNES version - it's about as similar as you could expect from the hardware.

Finally got my hands on a boxed grey Game Boy, after having lost my original and spent about a year trying to find one that was working + came with box and inserts + came with manual + wasn't scratched or yellowed. It's been a slog but it feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders!

I played Raams shaown, the expansion of gears 3. It was ok, some nice changes in pace but I expected to play as Raam, not have boss fights against him, that sucked the first time There were quite a few bugs too. Worth the 600 points I got it for on sale but at 1200 I would have felt ripped off.

The only game I bought myself is a Japanese copy of Marvel Superheroes, complete with spinecard for the Saturn to kick-start my collection of Jap Saturn Capcom Vs fighters. Came through today and probably just needs a new case but replacement CD cases never feel as good as the originals.
