Ha, there was much slow mo, the climax especially bad for it.

I finished watching 'The Bridge'. A really decent TV crime drama. I think that there is a US remake as well. I doubt it can top this.

The Hurt Locker - Very interesting film this one as it follows a group of US soldiers and bomb experts on duty in Iraq. Even though it lacked the soundtracks, it was the editing that matters. It was well shot with clever camera angles, incredible sound effects and it does create that realism to those intense scenes. Definitely worth watching.

Star Trek - It's the remake version directed by JJ Abrams (the guy behind Lost). Really like this one a lot as I'm impressed by the newly updated concept. Very intriguing and exciting plotline along the way too. Made as a prequel, it does made a good introduction to those who're not familiar with the series.

The Wrestler - This film really kicks ass, especially when it comes to those hard hitting scenes in the ring. It deals with the reality of being a pro wrestler (played by Mickey Rourke) as he experienced fame, love, drug abuse and broken relationship. Bloody brilliant!

I've never been a fan of Star Trek before but I did see the recent film and thought it was brilliant - can't wait for the sequel (even more McCoy this time please!)

King Dick was last night's film. I loved Jungle Burger, The Big Bang, The Missing Link and Dirty Duck - but this was utter "proper" crap! Like watching the Groovie Goolies but without the comedy or music or entertainment.

I watched Hitchcock's 'Marnie'. Quite a dark and twisted film. Similar to 'Vertigo' but with more adult material. In some ways it is quite dated and some of the production values are quite shoddy in places. Never the less, it was an interesting(rather than entertaining) film.

I then watched more of 'Mad Men'(season 5). This season seems to be focusing just on the characters(although they don't seem to be developing, just interacting)rather than having any ongoing storyline.

Yep, I have seen the first two episode so far. Unfortunately it has been cancelled.

Yeah, that Steve's a bit of a gobshite, good to see him go. Thought Ricky was hilarious, three identical meals in one day!

They are great, just gotta prepare yourself for the racism, sexism and the like that very few comedians would be prepared to go to in today's politically correct world. If only Eddie Murphy would embrace his comedy potential again. :(

It's certainly better than Revenge of the Fallen, at any rate.

Saw GoldenEye again earlier, and I still say it's the better one out of all the Brosnan Bond movies.
