In Chelmsford on round-abouts most people don't stop for the traffic coming around them, which is annoying

Agreed - with that deadly flyover. But it depends what road you are coming from and if they have the traffic lights switched on - which most people seem to adhere to. It would help though if they marked the lanes better as to what lane you should be in for where you are going, so idiots in the wrong lane don't cut you up. It does not help when you drive a 1.3 Diesel and have no acceleration to get passed them.

it's almost bordering on criminal the way they've f**ked it up. Every half-assed attempt to alleviate the congestion or danger of it seems to make it worse - I've seen plenty of accidents whilst the lights have been on, seen drivers blissfully pass straight through reds. I turn left most days at it when straight on is quicker, just to avoid going too far over it.
