TV Show - Knightmare

Postby samhain81 on Tue May 29, 2012 10:42 am

First of all, what a show. We ALL watched this.

Now the big question? did any contestant ever beat this thing?

I swear, like Crystal Maze, it was designed so that nobody ever won. Maybe they didn't have the money for the prizes so they set people up to fail lol

Anyways, did you guys watch this? What did you think?

Yes they do, but nothing will ever come close to the fun of Fun House, especially with those twins

...Moving swiftly on

A Frightknight trophy (the prize for winning in later series) was sold on Ebay a couple of years back. Can't remember how much it went for, but it was in the thousands.

Yeah, I used to love the show. I think I stopped watching it in about 1990. I didn't realise it ran until 1994. It was a quirky little program - much like 'The Crystal Maze'. I also had the computer game for the C64.

I think it got repeated on Sci Fi(now SyFy) channel sometime in the 1990s and I think Challenge did show a few episodes. I think you could probably watch the whole series on YouTube, and I imagine it is lurking in the torrentsphere as well.

I didn't have the Knightmare board game but I use to have the Crystal Maze board game until I lost most of the pieces. :(
