No. 73 The Cartoon Presenters!

Postby ianharding on Thu May 31, 2012 11:40 pm

Hi, All

This is something i did in 2008! before the 3 new real life Tribute films of No. 73 came around!

The clip has an intro with music all the way through, with different photos of the 14 inch cartoon sets and presenters all hand drawn!

The presenters are like cutout standee's. also a description titles!

Enjoy :)

No. 73 Was a Popular British Children's Weekend Show!, that ran from 1982 to 1988.

The Show included: 'The Sandwich Quiz', Pop Stars, Bands in the Basement!, Educational: eg how thing's work!, Art.
Disney showed their cartoons, like Mickey Mouse!

The Presenters were:

Neil Buchanan (Neil)
Percy Simmons (Patrick Doyle)
Nick Staverson (Harry Stern)
Sandi Toksvig (Ethel)
Kim Goody (Kim)
Andrea Arnold (Dawn Lodge)
Nadia Delemeny (Nadia)
Richard Waites (Hamilton Dent)

As a life-long fan! since 6 years old, i loved No. 73 i always wanted to go the show but never did!

Look-In magazine was a junior tv times mag for children and teenagers, there was a comic strip that ran for a few yrs!
this is where getting into cartoons came form for me!.

In 210 i made a tribute film called 'Anytime Anywhere', then in 2011 'The Roller Skates' and The Move' there was alot of promotion involved
and putting No. 73 back out there for old and new fans!

I'm glad that No. 73 is recalled by people that used to watch it and enjoy the work i have done!! :)
