Which version of MAME are you using to run it? I know it works under wolfmame, but for some reason that doesn't particularly like my PC.

Quality game btw, shame it seems so unknown.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning Wolfmame. The version I'm using to run it (and it works fine on it) is Mame32 0.103.0.0

I love this game, especially the soundtrack. The second boss is a pain, mind, always ends up handing me my ass.

As far as i can remember Cyvern has been running fine in MAME although it is highlighted as working with problems, looking at the source code it looks to be graphical elements and something regarding speed of the emulated version vs the original.

It is a great game though, a real gem when that turned up emulated.

Edit: Incidentally i am running MAME 137u1 and it appears to run fine.

Dont update your MAME romset as there may be games that you enjoy playing that may not work.

If you are happy with your current version then there is no reason to update, unless you are fastidious about MAME as i am.

Do you have to send them a video of you doing it or a INP.. I got a 1cc Eswat replaywhich was a lot higher than the Twin Galaxies top score I wanted to submit, actually received a email from Walter Day say that I had to send it to some other guy to get it verified

Any records on Mame you need to send in the .INP files for verification...

There's a link on the Twin Galaxies page that shows you exactly what the format is you need to use for naming and compressing the files...
