My new MAME project...

Postby boyo on Sun Jun 10, 2012 3:40 pm

These 2 Bookie cabs arrived today - one for me, one for a friend. £120 each. Time to make them proper arcade cabinets. Will document in the next issue of Retro Fusion.

I'd love to make a MAME cab, just so little room!

Keep us updated with its progress, should be interesting!

Look forward to seeing them. From what you've shown before you seem to know what you're doing!

Is this one from the lot that was advertised on Jamma+? A guy had a a unit full of them.

A very good price and someone on there is making control panels for them too.

if i were you i'd sell the note mechs, they sometimes go for a fair bit to help recover some of the costs and that's a good place to put your P1 & P2 start buttons anyway :)
Enjoy
