First of all, I'd had bad nights kip (about 3hrs) but had to get up early for hospital appointment, cue struggle. So I got up, got ready, left the house and made my way to the hospital. I parked up etc and made my way through the hospital trying to find the correct dept. I found it, booked in and then found out my wife had got the dates wrong, I should have been there yesterday! To add insult to injury, because I was a DNA (did not attend) I will now have to go through the whole referral process again and it took almost 8 weeks this time around! And also, the hospital charged me £2 for the 'privilege' of parking my car for approx 20 mins
The flip side to this though was it meant I would be back in time to see my lad take part in sports day. So I made my way to the school and waited around for it all to start. Only for the whole thing to be ruined by a thunderstorm and cancelled
It didnt end there either as my kitchen had decided it was time to get flooded, water was pissing down through my extract fan above the cooker and because I hadnt spotted it quick enough, it had made its way inside the cooker too. I got it all cleaned it all up, only for another downpour to happen, causing the exact same problem
Tbh, I had lots of other little incidents of bad luck as well but I wont bore you all too much so ill skip a few. But in all that there was another (planned) trip to another hospital for my wife, which meant we got home much later than normal. On thinking that my oven is probably fecked I didnt want to risk any more bad luck by turning it on and trying to cook. So I decided to nip to my local Curry house for a takeaway. Once home, whilst serving it all out in the kitchen, I knocked over my freshly poured beer into my Bose sound dock, which is now fucked. Thats £700 down the drain
So yeah, day to forget! But still, I doubt tomorrow will be as bad.
