A few signings caught my eye over on the BBC Sport Website.

Leon Best & Danny Murphy to Blackburn are incredibly good signings & I reckon they should do really well in that league, got to be among the favourites to win it now.

Also Brett Ormerod to Wrexham, I know he's knocking on a bit, but he should get plenty of goals in the Conference.

Only 2 days after the Euro 2012 final & our season starts tonight, we've got B36 Torshavn of the Faroes in a Champions League qualifier, only 4 rounds to get through before we get to the group stages...

I'm pretty happy with Ormerod, apparently quite a few League One clubs were after him - shows what a good young manager Andy Morrell has become.
That and holding on to our top scorer for once, if we don't go up this time I'll shoot myself.

I think it's a smart move for Spurs.

He now has just under a years experience of the Premier League and a decent squad that he can build on without the kind of players at Chelsea who all ran and cried to the owner when they didn't get played.

AVB had one good season in a very mediocre league managing an already good team that he inherited. This seems to be what his reputation is built on unless I'm missing something.

i think there is more chance of de matteo being sacked by chelsea before christmas, than that happening.

yes and no - his reputation comes from his time alongside mourinho i believe, as much as his 1 year/3 trophies at porto.
it's a bold move, and one that could quite easily backfire. i thought the same when he went to chelsea (paid a LOT of money to get him if i remember correctly). i'm looking forward to it, because there are far less egos at spurs than chelsea, and some good promising players. in addition, if he continues the high line of defence, provided our players are fit (ha!), then we have a bit more pace at the back than john terry to play that way.

think there will be a fair few ins and outs transfer-wise too.

Nah, they're not really. Be interesting to see how much Spurs have paid out for his transfer fee and what his wages are though.

won't be all that much, spurs don't do silly wages.
levy is also pretty shrewd with transfers. managed to get around 7m each for krancjar and corluka, neither of whom are near the first team.

and i think we'll be losing a lot of squad players in the coming weeks too...

It's weird that Rangers won't be in the SPL next season.
