Hostel, which was OK but nothing to shout about IMO. I've got no problems with gore, but when that's all a film has then it gets old quick. It also felt vaguely racist to me, I dunno... :?

Amazing spiderman, I was suprised how much I enjoyed it, much better than the previous films and a whole lot better than avengers. The only bad bit was with the crane drivers, you'll know when you see it :)

I still like it, really quirky, great cast as well. I can still see why it wasn't successful though.

I really liked Alien 3. Nothing amazing but it was damn good fun to watch. I also enjoyed the really gory 4th movie too.

But is it? It's got a decent cast (Dan Hedaya! Ron Perlman! Brad Dourif!), the plot moves along nicely, good atmosphere, plenty of aliens, plenty of gore, some nice tension-filled moments (even between the crew), a good score and is well directed. OK the hybrid alien thing is a bit rubbish, maybe that's why so many dislike it.

I finished the second season of 'Braquo'. Wow. Decent drama. There were some nasty torture scenes in it, though. Ending on another cliffhanger! Season 3 is scheduled for 2013.

Me neither. Its heavily based on the comics and the 'secret breeding lab' book I borrowed from the library was one of the better ones I read. I forget the title, but its influence is clear if you've read it.

I didn't think it was abominable but at the same time, it was the first Alien film that I didn't really care about. The first was a tense horror film, the second an action classic and the third more a psychological approach. Resurrection in comparison just feels like 'another movie'. It's not awful but I found it very generic, very basic and just a poor excuse to make another Alien movie and sell tickets. It has it's cool moments to be fair but I could happily re-watch the first three and forget Resurrection.

Last night I watched the original Wicker Man since it was TV. Never seen this before but I thought it was great. A really creepy film with a plot that made me feel like it could really happen if I stumbled upon the wrong secluded British village/island. It also sort of reminded me of Resident Evil 4...think it was because of having a small town/village that initially seems normal but the inhabitants are secretly out to get the main character.

^ Awesome film, balls to that Nic Cage travesty! Christopher Lee's down as saying it's one of the films he's most proud of. 8)

Shark Night... what a complete load of bollocks.. I normally watch some right old tat but christ this one took the censored, a Bull Shark that can apparently swim faster than a speedboat and a jetbike and be able to hang around for the jetbike to catch up to it, a big build up with facts reamed off about Tiger Sharks... only for it to turn out to be a Sand Tiger Shark which are relatively harmless to humans, they do enjoy eating shellfish though.. oh and a completely predictable plot for the most part.

I think the only thing that kept me watching was the boobies 8)
