Genre: Beat-’em-up
Game Profile:
Maximum Carnage is a 2D scrolling beat 'em up like Streets of Rage but the only difference being Streets of Rage is good and Maximum Carnage is not so good. In fact Maxium Carnage is terrible.
Where do I start with this train wreck of a game? Well first the game is brutally difficult. Now I like hard games but this is just insane! too many times in the game you are put into a 1 vs 5 situation and the enemies attacks take so much off your health that it just gets frustrating. The game starts you off with 3 lives and no continue option at all. And you know what that means? If you die, you start back from the beginning! Everyone loves making it to that 20th or so level, only to get beaten by some thugs and have to restart the whole experience over again. What a great idea that was!
Second why the hell make a super hard 2d beat em up one player! This game is begging for 2 player co op but for some reason the devs thought it would be a great idea to make this one player! I could go on why this game sucked but 350 words is not enough.
Good points. The MD cart was blood red.
