Game Profile:

The goal of this game is very simple; destroy everything in sight. That does not, however, make it any less addictive.

In this classic 2D-shooter you take the role as an F6F Hellcat pilot during World War II, fighting against the Japanese. The controls are very easy to learn and you can easily jump right into action. You start each mission with a take-off from the aircraft carrier, going after enemy bunkers, soldiers, battleships and aircrafts. Whenever you run out of fuel, just return to the carrier, refuel and then get back into action. The camera will switch from close-up to a larger overview depending on were you're at, which is a nice touch, and the graphics are very smooth, even though they could've been better.

Altough a little repetetive and with a little too frustrating landing routine, this is a very charming game that is hard not to adore. If you're looking for an easy-to-learn game to kill some time with, this is the one. A must-have Amiga classic.
