NES Remix 2 is just around the corner and it’s just announced a brand new game mode that is bound to invoke nostalgia for certain gamers.
The new Championship Mode will be inspired by the popular Nintendo World Championshiop Event, which took place in America in 1990. It requires you to get the highest accumaltive score across Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3 and Dr Mario using a multiplyer-based scoring system.
It’s not identical to the original, which included Rad Racer and Tetris, but it’s a nice touch all the same and should add greatly to the final release.
NES Remix 2 is available from April 25 and will be reviewed in an incoming issue of Retro Gamer. You can find out more about the sequel by visiting the official site.
