Retro Gamer Issue 133 Is Out Today!
The time is upon us once more – a new issue of Retro Gamer has fought its way into shops. Our cover feature on Nintendo’s classic boxing series Punch-Out!! sees us sitting down for a ringside chat about the series’ 30 year history with developers Makoto Wada and Mike Inglehart.
If you’ve not had your fill of pugilistic action after that, the issue also contains our Ultimate Guide To Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja and The Making Of Streets Of Rage, with artist Atsushi Seimiya. But don’t worry if you’re not one to let fists fly – the issue also features a 20th anniversary retrospective on Sega’s ill-fated 32X, features on the making of Hard Drivin’ and Finders Keepers, and The Bluffer’s Guide To Turn-Based Strategy, featuring contributions from genre legend Julian Gollop.
There’s a lot more besides, too – there’s a look back at Micro Live with Fred Harris and a long-form interview with Simon Nicol. And if you just want to know what the best games on your system are, check out our new-look Minority Report feature which highlights great Neo Geo CD games, or the hotly contested Amiga Top 25 – as voted for by our readers.
The issue is available in shops now, but fret not if you can’t find it near you – you can buy both the physical edition of issue 133 and a digital version of issue 133 online.
