Theatrhythm Final Fantasy sequel announced
If you’re a fan of the Final Fantasy series, and specifically the multitude of classic soundtracks the series has produced over the years, you’ll be pleased to know that the surprise 3DS hit Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is to receive a sequel later this year. The new game is to include an updated selection of music, with over 200 tracks including ones from recent releases such as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The game is also set to include new characters, including popular personalities from spin-off appearances such as Zack of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. If you missed the original game, it arrived for the 3DS in 2012 and proved to be pleasantly surprising, delighting long-time fans of the RPG series with some wonderful nods.
