PacMan World is an excellent 3D platformer on the GameBoy Advance which I bought alongside Super Mario Deluxe when I got my GBA SP. The 3D platforming is shown by having a level in an oblique persperctive (parallagram platforms and water) which gives it some quite good gameplay. There are Fruit Doors which you need to collect a fruit to open, letting you get access to buttons which will get helivaters/ Chain of dots to hidden areas, bonus letters & dots laid out with ghost, reffering to the original hit arcade game. the ability to, ahem, butt bounce, on enemies, buttons, chest, barrels and over minecarts in the later level.

Pac man has also gained arms and legs as you can see in the screenshot, meaning that he can very usefully swim, hang off the ledge of a platform andfall back dead in more drama. The ghosts have also upgraded to getting swords and bandanas…why, you may ask. Obviously to fit in with the pyurite skeletons and barrel buckateers that roam pac world now.

And you do all this to stop Toc Man from holding a party. (By the way To Man is a robotic pacman who thinks he is the real pacman and that pac man is the evil one, classic confused villain, except he is a robotic pellet muncher.) Granted Toc Man did kidnap every one so they would actually attend his party instead of chucking their invitations into a bin.

You get 3 save files and a handy select screen as well. Its definetly a worthy game to buy if you see a cheap copy floating about.
