STUNT CAR RACER is a highly thrilling racing game, designed by legendary coder Geoff Crammond who later came to even more fame with his great FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX games on the PC.

But back to this game: you take a seat in a stunt car and have to master neck-breaking racing tracks never before seen. The track layout resembles a rollercoaster ride with huge gaps to jump over and extremely sharp curves – and that's exactly what this game is: one huge rollercoaster fun ride! To make the game even more challenging, there's a damage indicator at the top of the screen. The more reckless you drive, the more the damage meter will increase until you finally wreck your precious stunt car.

You race against one computer controlled opponent but there's the possibility to link two Amigas and then play against your friend which is all the more fun. The options range from practice to a single race or competing in a tournament where you'll have to advance from league four to league one by winning against the nine CPU controlled opponents.

Lots of great details like the crane that puts you back on the track when you've crash-landed or the flames that come out of your eight(!) exhaust pipes when using boost plus the nice winning (and losing) screens after each race add to the overall brilliance of STUNT CAR RACER.

Great fun!
